Chinese speaking Channel Sales Executive (APAC)

memoQ is looking for a Chinese speaking Channel Sales Executive to further improve its market position in Asia and contribute to the company’s financial growth. You will work closely with your colleagues in the sales team to increase sales opportunities with potential new leads, follow up according to specific sales cycle stages, and ultimately convert them into clients.

About the position

The primary goal is to help memoQ's sales team with identifying new potentials, generating business with new clients and handling daily operational tasks. Distribute and assign incoming user requests in the company's systems, follow up on customer queries, prepare quotes, generate reports and conduct surveys. Collect and help monitoring market and marketing activities related to the company's products in Asia.

The main duties are summarized as follows:
  • Identify potential new clients and turn these into increased business according to memoQ’s goals
  • Plan approaches to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for marketing campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Register customers and potential customers in our CRM
  • Prepare estimates in CRM
  • Answer e-mails and phone calls related to clients
  • Monitor and translate marketing activities of memoQ's partners
  • Conduct surveys among clients and partners
  • Represent memoQ at conferences and other events
  • Generate and collect reports on sales and reseller performance
  • Help organizing trainings and events
  • Co-operate with other memoQ teams to maximize company revenue
  • Ensure you represent the company in the best light and establish a strong rapport with (potential) client
  • Help with any other operational tasks that comes up within the team


  • Studies in sales, marketing or computer science
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (other languages are a plus)
  • Previous sales or marketing experience with software products is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in the sales & marketing field
  • Keen to learn and develop
  • Good computer skills
