Role 1:
  • Responding to and regularly following up with sales-related inquiries from individual translators(mostly clients with special requests, escalations, complains, refunds)
  • Responding to basic technical requests from individual translators before purchase
  • Monitoring memoQ translator pro trial downloads, and following up on these
  • Contacting organizations and groups of individual translators with promotion campaigns
  • Selling directly and creating quotes
  • Co-operating with other teams (MARKETING and DEV) to maximize company revenue
  • Giving presentations, training and webinars about memoQ translator pro onsite and remotely, including to groups of individual translators
  • Planning, carrying out, measuring and evaluating marketing automation campaigns
  • Generating coupon codes for marketing campaigns and individual discounts and following up on their usage
  • Assigning tickets in the Sales and Trial queues
  • Automating tasks and customizing workflows in the ticketing system

Role 2:
  • Planning and executing “group buy discount” campaigns regularly on social media
  • Running database growing campaigns continuously
  • Community building: Creating and nurturing a community for freelance translators that shows special care, give us better insights and easy access to the members of the group
  • Advocacy: helping translators communicate about memoQ to fellow translators and clients
  • Creating and publishing non-memoQ related content. Our content is still really focused on the product itself and the technical details. A huge added value would be if we could talk about other aspects of the freelance translation profession as well. Quoting, client relationships, time management… etc. It would attract more non-memoQ users and help with community building.
  • Finding and working with local ambassadors: It is a really segmented business with local hubs in each region. We need to target these hubs better to reach more users.
  • Planning and organizing marketing campaigns and newsletters
  • Representing memoQ at academic and individual translator conferences
  • Discovering new ways of reaching out to translators

Both roles:
  • Input on pricing, campaigns, strategy, conferences
  • Surveying individual translators on customer satisfaction, competitive translation tools used and general product feedback and reporting
  • Monitoring individual translator satisfaction
  • Regular review of reports on individual sales, potentials, bottlenecks and issues
