About the position:

The Language Services Consultant will help our new and existing clients to establish and maintain business continuity and a great memoQ experience. Work with multiple stakeholders to advise customers on best practices to ensure long-term ROI and satisfaction; deliver and coordinate problem-solving and training sessions with our Smarketing team; help customers establish optimal workflows and processes. Support Smarkerting with customer demos and strong technical knowledge in the buyer journey.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responds to Business Services related enquires in the helpdesk system, on the phone and in e-mail
  • Follows up on prospective inquiries for business services
  • Provides necessary information for AMs/AEMs to create quotes
  • Manages orders (projects) to make sure satisfactory delivery is achieved to the client
  • Provides implementation services for new customers, including
    • workflow assessment
    • localization strategy plan based on findings,
    • resources migration, server configuration, custom automations and solutions according to plan
    • training
  • Provides customized solutions to clients as memoQ filters and script development, workflow automation and integration-related solutions
  • Provides user coaching services as workflow assessment, problem-focused advisory calls, customized trainings online or onsite
  • Manages customized and sponsored developments including project management and budgeting
  • Provides technical insights and help to complete RFPs and RFIs
  • Learns about systems integrated with memoQ
  • Communicates with technology partners and provide technical assistance in memoQ-related developments and in solving integration issues
  • Support sales and product design teams with technical advice and share experience
  • Sourcing case studies and testimonials from existing accounts
  • Continuously learns about memoQ and its competitors, and the market.
  • Regularly shares insights with product management and marketing
  • Soliciting, collecting, and forwarding feedback from existing accounts-
  • Collaborates with the Product and Support teams, developers and engineers to help customers resolve issues they are facing
  • Invite, involve and engage customers for and during memoQ conferences and events


  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business consulting
  • Understanding of business processes
  • Experience and proven track record in solution consulting
  • Software developer experience is an advantage
  • Strong customer focus
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Good command of MS Office
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ambitious, self-confident, enthusiastic
