Importing complex files with project templates

memoQ offers a variety of file filters which make it possible to import most of commonly encountered file types. Some of these filters allow for additional customization, for example regex-text filter makes it possible to import a huge variety of non-standard files or standard formats with special client requirements for a job. The same goes for XML filters for both monolingual and multilingual files with immense customization potential.

However, sometimes it's just not possible to import client's file without modifying them in some way. Fortunately that's also something memoQ can do - a project template can execute custom scripts before import and after export, greatly extending the range of imported files and adding new functionality to existing file formats.

The presentation will show benefits of project templates for custom file filters and introduce file processing scripting based on bundled memoQ tools.
