Our sales department is an integrated, global team which includes marketing, research, business development, professional services, technical sales, as well as customer success and channel partner manager roles. This team has proved to be an effective force that can deliver results, achieving ambitious growth targets over the past years.

The Role

To accelerate this positive dynamic, we would like to hire an experienced Channel Partner Manager to join our newly established office in Toronto. The role would not focus on the Canadian territories but the U.S. market where we’d like to develop a hybrid presence building on new reseller partnerships (to be established) but also leveraging existing direct sales resources (already in place). The U.S. is memoQ’s largest market by revenue with a significant potential to grow further. Partners could include resellers, distributors, value-added resellers, technology partners, implementation partners, independent technology consultants, agencies, industry associations, etc.


Identify, attract, sign and grow new reseller partnerships

Support partners to succeed –develop sales and marketing plans, organize trainings, support onboarding

Measure KPIs and actively monitor performance

Plan and oversee event marketing initiatives in joint partnerships with key partners

Work with marketing to optimize digital activities for this market

Attend conferences, meetings and industry events

Identify trends and expand the scope of your partnerships for continuous partnership success

Administer our CRM system (Hubspot), create transparency

The ideal candidate

Min. 5 years of experience managing partnerships in the tech, commerce or finance industry

Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders (across marketing, product, engineering, legal, and/or finance teams)

Proven business and financial acumen; strong negotiation skills

Familiarity with tech software business models (SaaS, perpetual licensing, etc.)

A strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively


As a Channel Partner Manager, you will be the dedicated point-person for a growing group of partners, and work
on building a long-term successful relationship between memoQ and our partners. You’ll need to excel at cross
functional work, as you’ll interact with solution engineers, finance, support, legal and marketing teams, and be
able to create meaningful relationships with a brand new partner quickly. We value diversity of thought and are
