Localization on repeat? Practical automations in memoQ

October 27, 2026 5:00 pm CET / 11:00 am EDT

How localization teams use memoQ scripts to automate the steps they repeat on every project.

Every new drop brings the same routine: the same setup clicks, the same find-and-replace, the same export-and-rename at delivery. It takes time, and when every PM does it a little differently, small errors slip into production.

Join Marina Ilari and Sara Rodriguez to see how memoQ can take over that routine. You will see how to clean source files before import, pre-translate and lock matches automatically, export deliverables straight to your desired location, and package quality assurance (QA) reports for every delivery.

In this 30-minute session, you will learn:

  • The three ways memoQ runs scripts, and when to use each
  • Where automations live in your project templates
  • How to adapt real use cases to your own workflows
  • Five quick wins you can add to a template right away
  • Best practices for safe, maintainable scripts

Bring your questions for the live Q&A at the end.

Who this is for

  • Project managers: Anyone who wants consistent projects, no matter who sets them up.
  • Translators and reviewers: Linguists who want clean files and fewer surprises mid-job.
  • Localization engineers: Team members in charge of setting up complex, automated, and efficient workflows.
