Flexible licensing

With memoQ server an organization can dispose of a pool of translator licenses that can be assigned and returned anytime. You can assign licenses to contractors for the time span of a translation project, and have them automatically returned at the end of it. Choose your interface

memoQ server has a desktop and a web version. Our web version can be easily accessed through a URL by both the owners of the server and the translators assigned to the jobs. This web interface also works in browsers under other operating systems such as Linux or Mac OS.

Get productive immediately: LiveDocs

LiveDocs is an alternative to translation memories which keeps your translation content structured and organized. It allows for the reuse of previous material based on the entire corpus rather than segments. This is the technology that gets you started with memoQ faster than with any other tool. You just need to import the source and target documents and memoQ will process it so that every source sentence has a target equivalent. Then the translator is made aware of the reference material as they translate and will get TM like matches out of it.

Agile localization: tedious file management no more

Translators spend an average of fifteen minutes per project moving files from one place to another and attaching them to emails etc. memoQ server eliminates this. A project manager can even set up memoQ content connectors to monitor a folder and whenever a file is added to that folder it is automatically added to the project. memoQ also eliminates manual email steps where files have to be added to an email, an email has to be sent and the file has to be saved from the email. This happens automatically.
 

Project tracking

There is no need for the project manager to contact each translator individually to see the current status of their work. They see this information in the project dashboard. They also need not worry about making sure they can track where the files for translation are or where the translation memory or other resources have been kept. The system does this automatically. All actions and emails are logged automatically, so you can always see who did what and when in a project.
 


Process control

memoQ server gives the project managers control over who is doing what and updated status information each time the project is synchronized. It also enables the consolidation of your assets in one place with control through an intuitive interface.

The memoQ dashboard gives the project managers a better overview of their projects and they can check a project’s status at a detailed level. It also offers search functionality, making it possible to find the relevant projects quickly.
