What is AltLang?

AltLang is an automatic language variety converter that helps you to deliver content into different varieties of the same language, i.e. from American English into British English.

Altlang has been developed by Prompsit and it is based on Apertium MT technologies. Its conversions are fully reliable and will make your content not just to be in the right language, but also in the right variant of your clients' language. The language variants available through AltLang are:

European Spanish ⇆ Spanish Latin America (es_ES - es_LA)

British English ⇆ American English (en_GB - en_US)

European French ⇆ Canadian French (fr_FR - fr_CA)

European Portuguese ⇆ Brazilian Portuguese (pt_PT- pt_BR)

memoQ sends a text to AltLang engine, one segment at a time. The results are then displayed in the translation results and the translator can decide whether to use them.

Mirai Translate is a cloud-based machine translation service integrated with a neural machine translation engine developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT).
